S1 Visit to Woburn Safari Park and Sleep-over

At the end of the summer term S1 enjoyed an action packed couple of days starting with a visit to Woburn Safari Park. The children enjoyed driving around the safari trail where they saw a whole array of animals including lions, tigers, bears and a group of very acrobatic monkeys which climbed all over the minibus. After a lovely picnic and hectic day looking at the animals and going on the train and boat rides the children returned to school for an evening meal and sleepover. The children loved the novelty of sleeping in their classrooms with their friends and having breakfast in the school hall the following morning. After breakfast the class visited Old Leigh where we played beach games and the brave ones paddled in the sea.
