S4 School Trip to Woburn Safari Park, June 2011

On Wednesday 15 June 2011, Tigers class visited Woburn Safari Park.

We had an absolutely wonderful day out and really made the most of all the sights and experiences on offer at Woburn.

We had a lovely ride on the Great Woburn Railway that took us through the Wild World Leisure Area and through the Bactrian Camel paddock.

After this, we took the road safari which was probably the highlight of the day for many of the children: they were amazed by the animals and all their antics, especially the monkeys, when they jumped all over the minibus.

We then had a lovely time on the water in the swan-themed pedal boats. After this, we went to the Mammoth Play Ark, an indoor soft-play adventure area.

To finish the day off, we stopped for a McDonald's on the way home.

A really fantastic day out for all involved - very many thanks to 'Happy Days' for funding this trip.
