Kingsdown School Sports Day, July 2011

Sports Day arrived to blue skies and sunshine after a week of rain and was supported by a large crowd of parents and friends of the school.

All the pupils took part in nine challenging and fun activities with incredible excitement and anticipation. The classes were supported by lots of enthusiastic parents who seemed to have as much fun as their children. The water-games, especially the rocket-launch, were particularly popular as the teams became very wet.

Running, bike, wheelchair and frame races followed the class activities and all the pupils were encouraged by on-lookers and celebrated by very noisy cheering and clapping.

Every pupil competed, met some challenges and had fun. This was made more enjoyable by the immense support from family and friends and we hope to see them all again next year!
