The Royal Wedding at Kingsdown School

On Thursday 28 April pupils participated in a variety of activities in celebration of Prince William’s marriage to Kate Middleton. Each class made a card which has been forwarded to Clarence House. A sea-side style large cut-out board was painted throughout the day with holes for the children to put their head through to be the bride and groom. Bunting and the Union Flag decorated the school hall where an assembly took place with traditional music and flag waving. Afterwards the children enjoyed a wedding cake that was made for them. A great day enjoyed by pupils and staff alike.
