In July 2009 a group of 13 pupils and 9 staff went to the Queen Elizabeth 2 Activity Centre in Hampshire for a week. Whilst there, everyone had a wonderful time.
At the start of the week the weather was not very kind to us; on the first day one group got soaked twice! However, this did not dampen anyone’s spirits and they enjoyed a motor boat ride and canoeing.
As the week progressed the weather improved and we had some lovely warm weather. Everyone enjoyed a visit to the farm, a bar-b-q and activities such as the climbing wall, archery, a woodland wheelchair trek and the zip wire.
On the Friday evening, everyone arrived safely back at school – exhausted but with many happy memories, and having had a great time together experiencing many new activities.
Of course many of the children said the immortal words... "when are we going again?!"
