Who are we?

What do we do?

• The school receives input in the form of a Specialist School Nurse, who also supports the school's Consultant Paediatrician.
• The Specialist School Nurse liaises between home and school and provides training for school staff, oversees individual health care protocols and engages in monitoring learners' health needs.
• The Consultant Paediatrician carries out routine medical examinations at the Lighthouse Child Development Centre regularly, which is facilitated by the school nurse and liaises closely with parents and school staff in order to meet individual needs.
