On Thursday 19 May 2011, Panthers class visited Meadowsfields, a Nature Study Centre.
The sun shone, the sky was blue, the birds were twittering in the trees and Panthers class had a lovely time at Meadowfields, shaking trees and pond-dipping to find out about plants and bugs in our local environment.
Ross, who was our nature guide was very informative about the plants and creatures we saw and even provided staff with a much needed coffee after the pupils had had their snack while basking in the sunshine.
Damon said, "It was brilliant!!" And no one fell in the pond! - Phew!
There are a few steep and uneven paths and the gravel surface is a bit of a push with wheelchairs and buggies but it is oodles of nature after all!
