S2 School Trip to The London Eye, May 2011

On 27 May 2011, nine children aged 13 years from Meerkats class visited The London Eye.

The visit was funded by a charity called 'Happy Days'. The trip enabled children to go together to see their capital city, something they would otherwise not be able to do.

The children throroughly enjoyed themselves. They saw famous buildings and landmarks, some of which they were able to recognise from previous learning. Two of the children overcame their fear of heights.

After the ride, they all enjoyed a pizza meal at a nearby restaurant.

A great time was had by all!
