Art on the Hoarding – Spring 2010

During Spring 2010 one of our teachers who also works as an artist has been working with the children from Kingsdown School, Temple Sutton Primary School, Cecil Jones College & Cluny Connexions Youth Club on a project for Southend Council called ‘Art on the Hoarding’. The project was commissioned to celebrate Southend’s involvement with the Olympics and Para-Olympics. The finished hoarding will be displayed outside Garons while they are building the new diving pool. There are plans to then move the hoarding elsewhere after which the Kingsdown section will return to school.
